In Turkey, mushroom plants can usually be built in private greenhouses, insulated structures made with metal panels and reinforced concrete buildings. The structure of the building will be an important issue to conserve moisture and heat. Therefore, it will also affect the performance of the air-conditioning machines to be selected. For example, if a structure in the form of a mushroom greenhouse is considered, it will be a structure formed with tent material placed on an iron construction. its cost will be low, but nevertheless; factors such as service life, heat insulation will be weaker.
On the other hand, when considering the concrete building, all parts of the interior must be suitable for sterilization in order to be sterilized in certain periods. This sterilization application is carried out approximately once every 2-3 months, before the compost change.
The shape and construction material and dimensions of the building should be in ideal dimensions for the most appropriate production. For example, buildings with a floor area of 100 m2 and a height of 3 meters are preferred in Turkey. The reason for this is actually to reduce infrastructure costs.
Namely; A separate humidification, cooling, ventilation, lighting and their automation are required for each mushroom room. If you have a total area of 1000 m2, and if you make a plan for a 50 m2 room, you will need to install 20 rooms, and therefore 20 systems, in this area. However, if you make rooms of 100 m2, then 10 systems will be enough.
The difference between an area of 50 m2 and an area of 100 m2 can be evaluated in terms of cost and ease of production. If we consider the example above as cost, 10 rooms and 10 systems will be created for 100 m2, and 20 rooms and 20 systems will be created for 50 m2. Here, infrastructure costs will be almost double for the same business area. However, we can predict that production costs such as electricity consumption etc. will be lower for 20 systems. Because climate control will be easier in an area of 50 m2. When we evaluate it in terms of ease of production, the difference between 10 rooms and 20 rooms is about dividing the production risk. The fewer eggs you put in the basket, the more you will lose if there is a shortage. On the other hand, humidifying, ventilating and cooling an area of 100 m2 is more difficult than an area of 50 m2. It is easier to provide climatic conditions in 50 m2 areas compared to 100 m2. More precisely, we can say that as the size of the room grows, it becomes more difficult to meet the climatic conditions.
As a result, humidification, heating and cooling in the central and northern regions, humidification and cooling in the southern regions will be very important for mushroom production in Turkey. Since frequent ventilation will be required, coolers and humidifiers should be selected with high capacity. Ventilation fans The same fans can be used for every region of Turkey. However, on average, we can write the minimum quantities in the production area of 100 m2 in each region as follows:
1- Humidification system spraying from 20 points,
2- 2 axial fans
3- automation panel
4- enough lighting
5- 1 living room type 60000btu air conditioner,
We, as Sismist, manufacture and sell only the first 3 of these options. Lighting and air conditioners should be installed on site.
